The Governing Body

Stoke Goldington Church of England First School and North Crawley Church of England School are partners in a 'hard federation' and therefore have a shared governing body.
Governors are part of a team that work together to ensure that all pupils can develop as individuals and receive an outstanding education. Working closely with the headteacher and staff, governors have responsibility for the strategic management of the school.

Governors attend regular governing body meetings, read the paperwork and visit the school. All schools have a full governing body meeting and a sub committee meeting once a term.

Our current board of governors:

Mrs Kathryn Crompton - Headteacher

Mrs Christine Barry - Local Authority Governor

Mrs Christine Thompson - Foundation Governor

Mrs Kerry Rose - Foundation Governor

Mrs Liz Craig - Co-opted Governor

Mr Nathan White - Parent Governor

Mr Simon Loughnane - Parent Governor

Mrs Louise Carey - Co-opted Governor

Mrs Katie O' Cearbhaill - Co-opted Governor
